In the first webinar of our Sustainability series, which happened in January, we learned how you could create sustainable value from IoT and seamless integration. In this second edition of our series, we will look closer at how organizations can truly become sustainable and connected enterprise.
The role of integration: You can think of integration as the backbone of connectivity across your business. Integrations are the pipelines that connect your different applications and data sources and help you get a unified view of data.
When you choose your integration platform, you need to make sure you’ll be able to access and integrate ALL your data, no matter if your data lives in the cloud, on-prem or in between both.
Having a unified view is the first step and digital backbone of your ESG program strategy. It will help you get a better understanding of what needs to be addressed and how it can be measured.

Don’t forget that your sustainability program is not just about brand credibility and your customer loyalty. It’s also about improving internal processes for the sake of efficiency and the well-being of your own employees. In the end, sustainability is about doing the right things right. And to do so, you need to be able to set a realistic goal based on your current data. This could be your carbon footprint, energy and/or paper consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and more. Every sustainability journey is unique.
