Everforth Quinnox develops an Inventory Management System, ensuring faster time to market for our customer's products

Inventory Management System

Business need

High licensing & customizations costs for the existing application, dissatisfied customers due to the delay in query resolution and the need to perform sales activities and routine inventory management tasks simultaneously were some of the key challenges faced by our customer. Everforth Quinnox analyzed the existing Inventory Management system, the gaps and issues, and set up an Offshore team for Ideation/wireframes designs, rapid proto-typing and development. Everforth Quinnox Q-IMS solution architecture was customized to develop the Mobile Inventory Management application. The existing inventory system functionalities were extended to mobile devices. We designed and integrated the application with back-end Point of Sales (POS) databases such as:
  • Verifone Payware IR scanner for scanning barcodes.
  • AirPrint for printing shipping labels and document shipment manifests.
Everforth Quinnox maintained the code base and provided appropriate support as part of the Application Maintenance and Support activities.

Benefits

  • Enhanced customer experience and satisfaction by providing mobile features aimed to deepen customer engagement
  • 30% reduction in operational costs due to:
    1. The ability to extend the application to various geographies with no additional costs
    2. The usage of cheaper devices such as iPods
    3. the usage of the existing store wifi network for connectivity
  • Increased operational efficiencies and employee productivity.
