Quinnox increased operational efficiency for beverage company with SAP Plant Maintenance

One of the world’s largest bottlers operating in Western Europe. They manufacture, bottle, distribute and market non-alcoholic beverages.

Business need

Lack of a holistic view of data across ERP modules such as Production, Finance and Procurement impacted the plant operations. Obsolete legacy solutions and systems led to high operational and maintenance cost. Moreover, the maintenance activities were highly manual, which resulted in mismanaged inventories, lack of corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance of plant equipment, absence of common asset care processes across plants and so on.

Solution

Quinnox took over end–to-end SAP Plant Maintenance using Quinnox’s proprietary Accelerated Cluster© approach with SAP’s Accelerated (ASAP) methodology. Quinnox team identified gaps in existing legacy solution, compliance issues, technology and environmental issues, repeated equipment failures, business systems and stakeholder needs, and prepared a roadmap and designed Plant and Asset care processes for 17 plants. The team integrated ERP modules (Production, Finance and Procurement) with Plant Maintenance module, Key Business Indicators (KBI) based reporting and implemented Syclo Mobile Technology for Plant Maintenance that synchronized planned and unplanned downtime activities for maintenance supervisors and production line managers.
