Context
Our client is an giant in the US
power industry and a key
player in the areas of power
production, distribution and related
services. They wished to make the
best use of a deregulated market and
achieve leadership position. To do
this, they needed to have excellent
systemic support and this entailed
integration of the various disparate
applications and platforms
consisting of mainframes, SAP and
Oracle. The client chose Quinnox to
carry out this important exercise
that would have a bearing on their
business performance.

Our biggest challenge was enabling
seamless data transfer across legacy
and contemporary platforms and
providing consistent information.
Our EAI experts rose to the
challenge and successfully integrated all important business processes of our customer and enabled real time transactions between internally used legacy systems and the Energy Clearing House.
Apart from integrating all core applications, we also provided several value added services and helped our customer in end-to-end business simulation and integration testing. Regression testing was carried out with sophisticated tools such as WinRunner, QuickTest and TestDirector.
